Dr. Hallie Smith is a licensed psychologist, Board Certified Behavior Analyst, and Assistant Professor in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) at Mississippi State University. Dr. Smith joined the ABA Program as Program Coordinator in August 2020. Dr. Smith holds a doctorate in School Psychology from Mississippi State University. She completed a pre-doctoral and post-doctoral fellowship at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine and the Kennedy Krieger Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Dr. Smith is the Co-Director of the Pediatric Feeding Disorders Lab at Mississippi State University. Her clinical and research background primarily consists of clients with developmental delays, Autism, and children with pediatric feeding difficulties. Dr. Smith has previously served in various leadership positions with the Behavior Analysis Association of Mississippi and was formerly the president of the organization. Dr. Smith, along with many co-investigators has secured over $2.4 million dollars in grant funding to support the training of students, to fund her research, and to serve the community through provision of services under her leadership.
